التشوهات المعرفية و الاكتئاب لدى المضطربين بدَورويَّة المزاج Cognitive Distortions And Depression In Cyclothymia

الملخص

Abstract: This study reveals the relationship of cognitive distortions to depression in cyclothymia. Cognitive distortions and depression were measured using the Cognitive Distortions Scale-20 for cognitive distortions and the Beck Scale for Depression-13, respectively, on a satisfactory sample of 84 patients with chronic arthritis of both sexes (38 males and 46 females), whose average age was estimated at 47 years. On a healthy sample of 67 healthy individuals of both sexes (36 males and 31 females), their average age was estimated at 46 years. The results showed an increase in cognitive distortions among those with cyclothymia more than the healthy ones, and the degrees of cognitive distortions among those with cyclothymia were different between males and females. The differences between the arithmetic means were discussed in the light of theoretical and field studies. الملخص: تكشف هذه الدراسة عن علاقة التشوهات المعرفية بالاكتئاب في اضطراب دوروية المزاج. وقد تم قياس التشوهات المعرفية و الاكتئاب بواسطة مقياس التشوهات المعرفية-20 للتشوهات المعرفية ومقياس بك للاكتئاب-13 على التوالي، على عينة مرضية تُقدّر بـ 84 مريضا بداء التهاب المفاصل المزمن من الجنسين (38 ذكرا و 46 أنثى)، قُدّر سنهم المتوسط بـ47 سنة، وعلى عينة صحية تُقدّر بـ 67 فردا متمتعا بصحة جيدة من الجنسين (36ذكرا و31 أنثى)، قُدّر سنهم المتوسط بـ46 سنة. وبينت النتائج ارتفاع التشوهات المعرفية لدى المضطربين بدوروية المزاج أكثر من الأصحاء، وكانت درجات التشوهات المعرفية لدى المضطربين بدوروية المزاج مختلفة بين الذكور والإناث، فتوجد فروق دالة بين الجنسين في درجات التشوهات المعرفية، كما بينت النتائج ارتفاع الاكتئاب لدى المضطربين بدوروية المزاج أكثر مقارنة بالأصحاء. وقد نوقشت الفروق بين المتوسطات الحسابية على ضوء الدراسات النظرية والميدانية.
