الملخص: تَضَمَّنَ هَذا البَحْثُ تَعْرِيفاً للتَّعَقَّبِ عِنْدَ النُّحاةِ باعْتِبارِهِ اسْتراتِيجِيَّةً هامَّةً أَدَّتْ عَبْرَ العُصُورِ إلى تَطْوِيرِ هَذَا العلْمِ وإنْضاجِهِ فَسَلَّط الضَّوْءَ عَلى المُسْتَوَييْنِ اللُّغَوِيِّ والاصْطِلاَحِيِّ مُحاوِلاً اسْتِعْراضَ مَفاهِيمِهِ واسْتِعْمالاَتِهِ لَدى عُلَمَاءِ النَّحْوِ، وتَدَرَّجَ إلى ذِكْرِ الاصْطِلاَحاتِ والسِّيَاقاتِ الَّتِي تَنُوبُ عَنْهُ، إضَافَةً إلى ذَلِكَ تَضَمَّنَ البَحْثُ تَفْصِيلاً لِذِكْرِ الأَسْبابِ والدَّوَافِعُ الَّتِي يَنْشأُ عَنْهَا التَّعَقُّبُ فِي مناقشَاتِ النَّحْوِيِّينَ ومباحثاتِهِمْ، وقَدْ صَحِبَ ذَلِكَ شَرْحٌ وتَحْلِيلٌ وتَمْثِيلٌ. ABSTRACT This research included a definition of tracking for grammarians as an important strategy that has led through the ages to the development and maturation of this science. He shed light on the linguistic and terminological levels, trying to revise its concepts and uses among grammarians, and gradually mentioned the terminology and contexts that act on its behalf, in addition to this, the research included a breakdown of the reasons and the motives from which the follow-up arises in the discussions and discussions of the grammarians, and this was accompanied by explanation, analysis and representation.
