Cyberbullying, also known as online violent behavior, is a repetitive verbal or physical attack over a period of time. It is a behavior that gives the perpetrator a sense of power by harming the victim in different ways. Cyberbullying seeks to threaten or provoke the targeted individuals, tarnish their reputation, spread falsehoods about someone, or share embarrassing through digital technologies such as social media, messaging platforms, gaming platforms, and mobile phones. Cyberbullying takes various forms, including disseminating lies, sharing compromising photos on social media, sending hurtful messages or threats, impersonating someone, and sending messages or publishing content on behalf of another person. Cyberbullying is a serious electronic crime that can have negative psychological and emotional impacts on the victim.
