This research aims to identify the effect of the sports season on some physiological parameters, including VO2 max, resting heart rate, and max heart rate in young soccer players. The sample consisted of 20 soccer players under the age of 17 from O.R.B. A descriptive approach was used, and the researcher used appropriate tests to collect data, such as the shuttle test and heart rate monitoring by a Polar M430 watch, which were conducted at two different time points during the season (pre- and post-season). SPSS statistical software was used to analyse the collected data. The results revealed a significant improvement in VO2 max and resting heart rate. In contrast, there were no significant changes in the maximum heart rates during the sports season for the soccer players. These findings have important implications for coaches and athletes, providing valuable insights to enhance training strategies and overall athletic performance.
