الملخص
ثمثّل هذه الدراسة قراءة في سيرة لأحد أعلام قسنطينة في القرن الثالث عشر الهجري، سيرة لأحد علماء الكراغلة، وأقصد بذلك الشيخ محمد بن إسماعيل ابن كوجك علي، رئيس كتّاب صالح باي ووزيره فيما بعد، ولهذا ستتعرّض هذه الدراسة لحياة هذا العلم مبيّنة أصله وعائلته ونشأته وتكوينه العلمي، وعلاقته بالعلماء داخل قسنطينة وخارجها، ثمّ التطرّق إلى رحلته الحجازية التي قام بها، وما لها من أثر على تحصيله العلمي، وذلك من خلال التقائه بالشيخ مرتضى الزبيدي المصري. وستحاول هذه الدارسة أيضا ذكر الجهود التي كان يقوم بها الشيخ محمد ابن علي كوجك من أجل تحصيل الكتب واقتنائها، ثم حبسها على عائلته من بعده، أو حبسها على المدرسة التي بناها صالح باي. This study represents a biography of one of the well-known figures in the 13th century Hejira in Constantine. It is a biography of one of the scholars of the Koulouglis , referring to Shaykh Muhammad bin Ismail bin Kujak Ali, the chief scribe of Saleh Bey and later his minister. Therefore, this study will delve to the life of this scholar, clarifying his origins, family background, upbringing, and scholarly formation, as well as his relationship with scholars inside and outside Constantine. Furthermore, it will explore his journey to the Hijaz and its impact on his academic pursuits, particularly through his encounter with Shaykh Mortadha Al-Zabaidi Al-masry. This study will also attempt to mention the efforts made by Shaykh Muhammad bin Ali Kujak in acquisition and preservation of books, whether keeping them within his family or within the school of Saleh Bey
